The usual dosage of Celebrex for arthritis is 200 mg daily. It could be administered as a single dose or two doses of 100 mg daily. The dosage may vary depending on the patient, as children who weigh more than 10 kilograms but lower than 25 kilograms are prescribed to take 50 milligrams twice a day while those who weigh more than 25 kilograms are recommended to take 100 mg twice a day. For ankylosing spondylitis, the recommended dose is 200 mg daily. Patients suffering from dysmenorrhea or menstrual pain are given 400 mg at first, with an additional 200 mg if the pain does not subside on the first day.

Short-Term Side Effects
